| well, i guess i should update. hahahhaha. wow, it's been forever since i wrote anything on this thing. sorry to kat, especially, for being so delinquent. i am now updating as result of your command over the weekend.  ok, so what can i tell ya all? i'm still looking for a job--surprise, surprise. i have applied to various publication organizations and am waiting to hear back from them. unfortunately, one of the companies i applied to has a notoriously slow HR dept, so it might be awhile til i hear anything. oh well. i really want to obtain an editorial position, and i'm not ready yet to give up on that desire. so i'm gonna wait things out for the next month or so and continue to try and find a job that i really want to do. if i'm jobless next month, then i'll probably start looking for crap jobs that help pay for gas. PLEASE PRAY I FIND SOMETHING DECENT!!!   hmm...what else can i tell you? i have a boyfriend, and he's great. jon and i have been together for two months now, and it's spectacular. i've never been treated so well in my life. i love it. we went to the memorial tournament a couple of weekends ago, and it was so much fun. it was very hilarious to watch jon bound around and get as close as he could to all his favorite guys...especially tiger woods. haha. so funny. but hey...at least he got jim furyk's tee. he was pretty floored about that.  so yeah, things are going well there. i'm a very happy camper.  so the summer is going pretty well. i won't lie, the job situation is starting to weigh on my mind, but i know i need to trust God and realize that He's in control. i just have to calm down and leave it in His hands. i'm so darn impatient tho, and i suck at trusting Him....grrr....this is probably why i don't have a job yet. ah well, i'll just keep trying. another hard thing that i'm dealing with is having everyone so far away. everybody is in indiana, and i'm all alone in ohio. it's a little depressing, actually. but i really feel that i should stay in Ohio for now, so i'll just have to suck it up and make the best of it. i guess it's a good time to connect with my family and with old friends. it is very hard, though...i miss everybody a lot... on a more random note, i've seen three movies in the past month: spiderman 3, pirates 3, and ocean's 13. i wasn't a huge fan of spiderman 3, just because tobey mcguire's acting bugged the heck out of me. but the special effects were ok. pirates 3 was pretty good, and i liked it pretty well. and ocean's 13 was better than ocean's 12, so i liked that too. that movie was very funny...i laughed a lot....so hilarious. yay, brad pitt, george clooney, and matt damon. all i can say is "the nose worked." hahha! well, i guess that's it for now. i think that's a pretty sufficient update...hehe. i promise i will try and do better with keeping up the updating. i hope everybody is doing really well, and i miss you all. for those of you who have called me and left me messages to call you back--aka, sean and juli--i will get back to you this week. i've sucked at that, and i'm sorry. i will call you soon!!! love ya all. |
and for some dumb reason, my medication decided to not let me sleep last night, so i'm working on three hours of sleep. yay for being back at school. 
tho i do have my doubts on how far my beloved boys will go (i think we're a little overrated talent-wise), i am nevertheless thrilled beyond compare that basketball will constantly be on the tv for the next few days.
